When is the showroom open, and what can I do there?
You’ll find us at Doorniksestraat 51, Kortrijk (Belgium).
- Monday–Thursday: by appointment via this link or laurence@lauvdesign.com.
- Friday & Saturday: open without appointment from 11:00–18:00h.
In the showroom you can explore our collection, adjust colors and sizes, or create a custom piece designed just for you.
Can I customize my rug or request a unique design?
Yes. All our rugs are customizable in size and color. We can also create one-of-a-kind designs on demand — just contact us for more info.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Since every piece is custom made, production and delivery take 8 - 10 weeks.
Do you accept returns?
No. Since we carry no stock and every rug is made specifically for you, returns are not possible.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, please email us with photos. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
How do I care for my rug, and what should I expect when it arrives?
- Vacuum regularly.
- For spills: absorb immediately with a cloth or towel.
- For stubborn stains: use HG Rug Cleaner for a deep rinse.
- To refresh your rug: call a professional cleaner.
- Loose hairs in the first weeks are normal — vacuum a few times.
- Rugs arrive tightly rolled; allow time to flatten naturally.
Will the color of my rug stay the same over time?
We do our best to show realistic colors, but natural coloring can vary and photos may differ slightly from reality. Wool is a natural product, so colors may gradually fade with sunlight exposure — a slow process over the years.
