Choclo, Kortrijk — A Wall Piece Inspired by the Andes
For Latin American restaurant Choclo in Kortrijk, we created a textured wall piece shaped after choclo — the large-grained Peruvian corn native to the Andes mountains.
Guided by our love for organic forms and unconventional rugs, the corn shape became a natural fit for the restaurant’s open interior. As choclo is a key ingredient in the kitchen, its form felt like an authentic expression of the restaurant’s roots — both symbolic and sculptural.
We worked with vibrant colors and layered textures to bring energy and dimension to the space, creating a piece that feels both playful and refined. Visit Choclo in the heart of Kortrijk and experience the warmth of this collaboration up close.
